Poppy Park, formerly Jaycee Park, has been a destination for the neighborhood children for many years. In the early part of the 1990’s, the Jeffersonville Parks Department took over the ownership and maintenance of the park. Around this time, new playground features were added to the space that had already been used for neighborhood pick-up ball games.
