This beautiful Park is one of the first sights that visitors see when entering Jeffersonville.

The Warder Park Gazebo is used for many special events throughout the year such as, weddings and Jeff Main Street Friday concerts in the park from June through August.

Reservations

The Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation Department has several shelters which can be used for neighborhood meetings, family reunions, graduation celebrations, birthday parties, weddings, team gatherings and much more.

Reservations are accepted online at any time (click the rental information box below). Payment is due at least 7 days before rental date. Permit is issued after full payment including tax. All rules and regulations of the gazebo apply and are subject to requested availability.

Warder Park Gazebo can be reserved for the hourly rate of $70.00 per hour plus sales tax with a 2 hour minimum.

History

Named in honor of Luther Fairfax Warder, Mayor of Jeffersonville for six terms in the 1800’s. He converted the small town in to a prosperous, progressive city, was foremost in bringing the county seat here. As a youth, he commanded the company he created, Co. B 16th Kentucky volunteers infantry, through the Kentucky campaign receiving incurable injuries. He was a lawyer, executive, farmer and stock breeder. Courtly in personality, he battled life-long for right, progress and the oppressed.
