Parks Memorial Program Policy
The Parks Memorial Program allows applicants to acknowledge a significant event, occasion, or individual and to beautify public parks by planting a memorial tree and/or installing a park bench memorial as listed below.
To apply for an installation in this program, contact the Parks office to obtain the appropriate application.

BRICK MEMORIAL
- $200 Donation (Engraving Included)
- Red Speckled Brick 4″x8″
- 3 Lines – 15 Characters Per Line
*Note: The brick placement portion of this program is currently reserved for honoring veterans. Bricks will be placed at the Clark St. memorial on Riverside Drive.
TREE MEMORIAL
- $900 Donation (Plaque Engraving Included)
- Ceramic Plaque – 6″x12″ with 24″ Stand
- Honoree’s Name, Dates, Custom Message
*Note: Custom message approval at Parks Director’s discretion.
BENCH MEMORIAL
- $3,200 Donation (Plaque Engraving Included)
- 6′ Black Metal “City of Jeffersonville” Bench
- 12″x6″ Aluminum Composite Material Plaque
- Ceramic Plaque Upgrade – $300 (Additional)
- Honoree’s Name, Dates, Custom Message
