Parks Memorial Program

Parks Memorial Program Policy

The Parks Memorial Program allows applicants to acknowledge a significant event, occasion, or individual and to beautify public parks by planting a memorial tree and/or installing a park bench memorial as listed below.

To apply for an installation in this program, contact the Parks office to obtain the appropriate application.

BRICK MEMORIAL

  • $200 Donation (Engraving Included)
  • Red Speckled Brick 4″x8″
  • 3 Lines – 15 Characters Per Line

*Note: The brick placement portion of this program is currently reserved for honoring veterans. Bricks will be placed at the Clark St. memorial on Riverside Drive.

TREE MEMORIAL

  • $900 Donation (Plaque Engraving Included)
  • Ceramic Plaque – 6″x12″ with 24″ Stand
  • Honoree’s Name, Dates, Custom Message

*Note: Custom message approval at Parks Director’s discretion.

BENCH MEMORIAL

  • $3,200 Donation (Plaque Engraving Included)
  • 6′ Black Metal “City of Jeffersonville” Bench
  • 12″x6″ Aluminum Composite Material Plaque
  • Ceramic Plaque Upgrade – $300 (Additional)
  • Honoree’s Name, Dates, Custom Message
