W.F. “Ted” Throckmorton Park, formerly Oak Park, is located off of Park Lane and Willow Lane in the first addition of Oak Park subdivision. The pond is home to algae, water lilies, cattails and reeds as well as insects, fish geese and frogs which form an elaborate aquatic ecosystem.
